Turn It Up at New Cross Inn

The New Cross Inn isn’t the sort of place you describe - it’s the sort you experience. Tucked away in South East London, right next to Goldsmiths, it’s long been a proving ground for up-and-coming bands, many of whom go on to far bigger stages.

A mate of mine asked me to photograph his gig there. I said yes - mainly because I owed him a favour. But truth be told, he did me the favour. Every act on the bill brought the energy, dialled it up to 11, and made the walls sweat. The New Cross Inn, as ever, delivered - loud, raw, and unforgettable.
