We’ve all ordered something online - but how does it actually get from a website to your front door?

I was invited by Trust Media to photograph the process for Bpost and Radial at their enormous fulfilment hub in Halle (Saale), Germany. It's a high-tech operation - conveyor belts stretch across the warehouse like arteries - but what caught my eye was the human element. Amidst all the automation, staff are on hand to carry out bespoke product customisations upon request, ensuring each parcel is more than just a box - it’s made personal.
