Klima Demo - Leipzig:
”Mir egal ob du Kohle hast…”

Leipzig has always had a restless spirit. In 1989, it was the beating heart of the Peaceful Revolution, helping to bring down the GDR.

That legacy still lingers in the air. It’s no surprise, then, that many of my assignments here involve photographing demonstrations - this city knows how to stand up and speak out.

Most recently, I joined Greenpeace and BUND (Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland) as they marched around the Leipzig Ring, continuing that tradition. A modern protest in a city shaped by its past - driven by people who still believe change begins in the streets.
